For sale is my 1956/1957 13ft Boston Whaler Classic. Hull #FP75. I have had this remarkable boat for some years now with the intention of fully restoring it. Well, life has gotten in the way. With a young family time is not there these days for a project like this. This hull is old. And I've never seen another one. I am posting it for sale here since I don't want it to sit anymore without it being brought back to it's original glory. It is for the hull only. To answer some questions which I know will be asked:
Yes-there is a drain plug that goes through the bottom of the hull
Yes- there are two drain holes in the splashwell, one on each side
Yes-there is a brain hole higher up on the center of the transom.
You do not see these. And it's (IMO) a very important piece of American History. Asking $5,000.

ps: it does still float.

Boat is located in New England. Respond here and I can either send pics or discuss anything you'd like. Thanks.

No offense but what am I missing here....I bought my 1963 hull for $800 with a trailer and all new wood. I heard recently that a fully restored older 13 ft hull was bringing $30,000 in the New England area...is that true as well?

The boat offered is a Fisher Pierce Whaler, serial number 75... one of the very first Whalers ever built. Note that the oldest 13 hulls were quite different than the run of the mill 13's, and this is one of the oldest Whalers in the world. It would be a valuable boat once restored and fitted with a vintage engine. Price is likely.. well.... "optimistic", but it's not a boat that is in any way similar to yours from a historic or value standpoint.

Love to see pics posted of this hull. Please?

Hi. You are correct. It is an example of one if the very first Whalers ever made. This was hull was built prior to the production of the Boston Whaler. I don't know anything about a 13ft selling for $30k here in the Northeast. If anyone would like pics you can email me. Thanks.
