1989 Boston Whaler Outrage 18.  2009 Evinrude E-TECH 115 with low hours.  Under 100 i would say. Have not plugged it in for hours but can do for interested party.  Motor flushed after every use and runs & looks perfect, and boat washed at same time.  Only used the XD100 oil.  14-3/4 x 16 viper stainless prop.  The bottom has never been bottom painted.  2010 Sea Lion trailer bought new for the boat with slicks on the bunks.  The boat has the original Mills Bimini and bow dodger.  They canvas is not perfect but functional.  Very easy to drive and trailer.  The boat has never felt unsafe and we always have it packed with people and gear.  I love this boat and only reason I'm selling it is because I'm buying another Whaler.  Don't need to sell, but don't need to keep.  Please email with any questions $14,500 will post pic links shortly. Would really prefer to sell to Whaler person

That looks like a nice boat from the photos, but you're not asking enough. At your price it should sell fast.

Look at it this way, sold separately:

1. the low hour engine is worth 5K
2. the Mills Flying Top set is worth 2K
3. the Kicker is worth 1K
4. The trailer is worth 1.5K

That means you're asking 5K for the boat, which is WAY TOO LOW. Have you seen what kind of a boat you can buy for 5 thousand? Not much.

The canvas looks pretty good. You just don't have it strung properly.

Bump for a beautiful boat. I have the same setup (Outrage 18/e-tec 115/16P Viper) and it does everything I'd want. Great hole shot and just sips the fuel.

Agree with the comment on the forward shelter - you need to run a loop through the eye and then pull to the cleat. That removes all slack in the canvas - like this:

Good luck with the sale - maybe wait 'til spring for more demand.

Some people have inquired for info on the motor. It is under warranty until June 2014. Thanks

13,900 obro

The motor has 104 hours and is getting its 3 year service completed.

I will also include the Lowrance HDS5 that I bought 2 years ago.

I have 3 whaler now, and would like to sell this one.

Any questions please email

Wow, I can't beleive it hasn't been sold yet at that price. Really clean looking boat with a virtually new engine, ant that canvas...

If I had not just recently bought my Outrage 17 (for the same price), I'd be all over it for sure!

bwbill9- I am not as market savvy as many, but this is not, in my experience, the time to sell a boat. Wait 4-5 months and then put it out there. I am shocked to see this boat still for sale.

I disagree with the timing. I think as the boating season winds down, most people start looking for their next boat. There's a reason the boat shows are conducted through the fall and winter months. It's because people want to have time to buy their new boat and get it ready before the next boating season.

Also, given the economy, most boats don't sell quickly, so why not start advertising early?

Kismet- I am basing my statement on having attempted to sell 3 boats at the end of the season- A BW 13, a Montauk and a really nice RIB. All 3 boats sat all winter. The 13 was the quickest to sell and the RIB, which was in showroom condition was the last. None of them sold before the end of March.

Come to think of it, I bought the 13 in July, the Montauk in May and the RIB in June.

That is a very nice 18' Outrage!

That would sell in one hour at full asking price in Northern California.

Oh, I agree with Tony and Martyn, on the West Coast (where I purchased 3 of my 5 Whalers), this boat would be gone, hence my earlier post. Interestingly, I looked at my title/registration for the Outrage 18 I kept in So Cal- bought mid-August. To be fair, this boat needed commitment and vision and is not like the boat for sale here.

On the 19 Outrage in CT, we bought it early April.

Thanks for the nice feedback from all. I had the boat at the Evinrude dealer for the last 2 weeks getting its 3 year service, which hasn't help my sale. If its not worth selling I will just try again in the spring. Im only losing time, and energy with some of the foolish emails and scams.

Where are you located, in Padanaram? I'm from West Island where I keep my 18' Outrage. Perfect boat for chasing stripers out at the Pigs and Quicks Hole.
