Looking for a little help in determining the value of my 85 15' Super Sport. I've had the boat for 12 years. The trailer is a 2004. I lost two cylinders in the engine last August so I'm going to sell and probably move up in size. The boat been in Michigan its entire life, used primarily on Lake Michigan. No add on's entirely stock. See attached pictures. Thanks. http://s1308.beta.photobucket.com/user/storeyjohn/media/198515footSSontrailerbowview_zps6b347814.jpg.html |

My 1986 Striper 15 footer, as I bought it in 1/12, no motor. Exterior very good gel coat, just needed polish. No damage. Interior needed painting. 1986 trailer. All for $1500. [urlhttp://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c191/floridaboy2053/15ftwhaler.jpg[/url] rich |

Robert, thanks for asking. The boat now has a tunnel under the deck as it will become a center console. the exterior has been sanded and polished and pretty well looks almost new. the weather here north of Tampa has been pretty cold for the past month or so (below 65 during the day.) I think is over now though, and I expect to Awlgrip the interior next week. I have some custom tinted AwlGrip that matches the original Desert Tan. Then after the painting is done, and new rub rail is installed I will get to work on the custom mahogany and glass center console. I hope it works out. I built the plug for the glass part of the console last year, and I have to make the mold for it, and then glass a copy from the mold. The mahogany work is very simple to do, but my supplier in Homosassa went belly up, hopefully I can find another in Tampa. If this console looks good, I can make copies for others. I'll see how it goes. I will probably use some sort of an RPS seat behind the console, something that will hold the fuel tank. I need to start looking for a used 50-70 hp fresh water 2 stroke motor. rich |

I think the boat /trailer is worth at least $3,000, maybe $3,500. Boat looks to be in good shape and trailer is fairly new and also looks to be in good shape. |
