I have been searching for a reversible pilot seat for a long time and just got a lead on one, but has no legs!! I think I once read that early RPS's had ss legs. Anyone know where to get legs or able to help me with drawings to fabricate?? Thanks

Tom: Bring your tape measure and sketch pad and you can measure mine next weekend! However, for years these have been made of a composite material. I would order a set from Whaler, since they are still being used on the Montauks, but color has been changed to black. Will you need to order the SS bars also? Incidentally, we're counting on you to make Tobermory by 2 or 3PM on Friday! Talk to you soon.

In my 17 Outrage I have an RPS that was originally installed in an older ('73 I think) Outrage. It came with Aluminum legs. They are dimensionally identical to the composite legs that Whaler has been using since at least the early 80's. I think these are the metal ones you are referring to, I have never seen ones made of Stainless Steel, although they would look and work great! A competent welder could form duplicates fairly easily, although I doubt it would be cheaper than buying them off the shelf.

Good luck!

Doug
