Succinctly, I'm trying to find out if anyone knows a.) whether BW manufactured a fixed T-top for Outrages, or b.) if there is a company specializing in T-tops for Outrages. Although we have the factory flying top to offer much needed shade, it's gunnel-mounted frame hampers "fishability". The aluminum & Sunbrella tops of today's models would be perfect...if one were made to fit. Any insight is greatly appreciated.

My uncle recently had a t-top installed on his Outrage ('85 I think). I'll try to find out where he had it done. I seem to recall that it was a custom job done by a company somewhere in Florida. The "legs" for the t-top are bolted onto the deck, and there is additional support bolted onto the console. You can still walk around and fish without any support getting in the way.

We fabricated a custom T-Top for our Whaler with the help of Keith Joy at Lakeside Marina. It is very user friendly and solid, we have a 35 pound lightbar and antennas attached to the top. The boat is usually operated in adverse conditions and we have had no problems with the T-Top. Keith designs and builds these tops to the customers specifications. His phone number at Lakeside Marina is (419)-798-4406.

Dive 1,

I worked with Keith Joy at Lakeside when designing the radar arch for my 21 walkaround back in 1994. Everything about the installation and fabrication was first class.
