I use "Kit Wax" which is 100% Carnuba wax. It has no cleaners in it so you need to thoroughly wash the boat first. The plus side is that because it has no abrasives in it, it does not scratch the gelcoat. It leaves a good shine and it is good at lifting stains out of the gelcoat too. I buy it at the local WalMart for about 5 bucks a can. I wax my Whaler after every second time I use it and it keeps the boat looking great. I have used it on a badly oxidized whaler and it worked well on that too.
