Any recommendations on replacing thermostats on my 1995 Johnson 115 V-4? I've done water pump kit after 3 years and will continue to do so every 3. What about thermostats? Have heard comments to do and to leave alone if no problems.....

I have twin 95 115 johnsons on my boat that I bought this past oct. They had 100 hours on them when I bought it. Have you had any real problems with them. Mine seem to run great, have had a little idle problem with one of them. I have been putting fuel and carbon guard in the tank and the seem to run better. What should I pay attention to with these motors, as I have always had Yamahas.
