I have a 89 15 that the running light wires have been cut. Do they just exit the hull at the bow and stern lights? Also the rear light is completely missing(bracket and all. Any suggestions?

Yes the wires simply exit the hull at the bow and then run inside the rub rail insert to the stern. The stern light itself is an off the shelf Perko product, but the chrome on bronze fittings were a Whaler custom made product. (and bloody expensive as I recall)

On my 1976 15-Sport the bow light wiring runs (internally?) along under the the port rub rail and exits near the transom. The stern light mounted on the port side of the transom.

I've seen some other years where the stern light was mounted on the starboard side, so I would assume they ran the wiring along the starboard rub rail in that case.
