I realize that it may be simple for alot of you but I have never wired a boat. Can you give me an example for a wiring diagram involving a single outboard, two batteries (one starter/one accessories), a Perko selector switch and an onboard charger. Thanks for all your advice.

Go to: www.guestco.com

That is Guest Marine Products (electrical stuff) home page and they have a fairly large and handy area in which they have a number of wiring diagrams for various applications, yours included. Of course, they would prefer you used a Guest switch rather than a Perko...
