Hi Folks,

I have a 1964 Sport, after a romp in the icy chop in Lake Michigan this spring it came back home with a 2 square foot hole in the outer skin in the stern area and 70% of the keel cracked through.

My question for the group is I need to find an acceptable replacement for the factory foam prior to doing the fiberglass repair. Also, any suggestions for drying out the foam, especially where it's not exposed to the air?

thanks in advance

I am doing the same repair on my 13'. I have information c/o lhg on repairing the hull from Boston whaler. Send me your fax and I can get it to you! There are lots of older postings addressing these issues.

Good luck!
