A while back someone was getting rid of two old steering wheels, did you happen to buy them? If so, would you be interested in parting with one. If not, I understand, if anyone else might have one please let me know. (old aluminum three spoke off of a 13 sport)

Dan, I still have two original wheels for sale for a 13' sport. 1960s vintage.

Dan, I didn`t buy them and should still be available? Hope you get one! Regards-Jack Graner.

Great, thanks for getting back to me. My original 1968 13 sport had an aluminum steering wheel that was either three spokes or four. Does this sound like waht you have got? Do you see any reason it would not fit on a Morse steering head (Teleflex type)? Any idea on how much you might want for one of them?

Dan, you know what. I liked the metal steering wheel on my 71` `13 Sport better than my plastic one on my 73` `16 Currituck! It seems, and I may be wrong that Whaler had plastic wheels for a limited time before going back with all metal stainless ones? I wonder what they used on Nausets and Eastports? Anyone know this for sure, I don`t think we covered this? Regards-Jack Graner.

The Nausets, Eastports, and Sakonets I've seen all had plastic helm wheels on them. I've seen one that has stainless but that had been replaced. Dennis

Thanks Dennis, I hadn`t a clue. It is kind of strange that the `13 Sports had aluminum wheels and the `16"7`s had plastic? I wonder what Whaler was thinking? Anyone know this? Regards-Jack Graner.
