Hi- Still looking for sources for the 63 gallon aluminum fuel tank-?????? also- have any of you guys installed a pony engine bracket onto a similar vintage 20' hull- 1978- it looks like the bracket holes would need to go through the real thick part of the transom where it starts to curve in- otherwise, the bracket will block out the transom ski eye...Thanks....Dave Murray

Try Florida Marine Tanks -- I think this tank was made by them, but not 100% sure. Did you remove the clear deck plate and clean around the sight gauge? There should be a plaque that states manufacture, type of aluminum and tank size under the crud.

Dave - BW never recommended pony motor brackets for any of its boats, 17 and up. Clamp the moter right on the transom. See Louie Kokinis' 22' Guardian in Cetacea section for the correct installation on an Outrage. You will need a 20" engine.

Larry won't work on the original deep V hull at least it wouldn't with ours --- if I hadn't sold her was about to add a bracket -- I forget now how I figured it would have to be placed --- mind goes first -- uh now what was second?? The problem mounting on the flat won't clear the main motor swing --- Tom
