posted 04-18-2001 11:50 AM ET (US)         Can someone help me? I have a '96 Outrage 17 foot with an in deck fish box in the floor right behind the leaning post-live well. There is a hole in the starboard side of the fish box about half way up the side of the box. When under way in choppy seas it seems that water come in this hole and floods the box, melting any ice and requiring a lot of bilge pumping. Does anyone know where this hole leads to and what purpose it serves? I feel like I can just plug it but am curious about what it is. Thank you.
