I recently bought a "well-used" 1979 Outrage that apparently had a leak at the gas vent/fill area that caused separation of the foam from the outside hull. The separation goes back about 2-3 feet judging by hull flex. I'm in the process of sucking out all the water I can via a drain at the bottom of the transom (aftermarket installation), and when I feel I have got most of it I want to re-bond the separated area. Anyone had any experience with this particular situation that can help me?

Hoping I can sort of catch a ride on this thread as I have a similar problem:

I have some floor separation in my 69 Nauset that I am looking to repair. Not enough that I want to tear up the floor to repair, but I would like to address it somehow. I was thinking of just drilling holes in the floor, injecting West System epoxy, and sitting a 100lb bag of cement on it to hold it down. Anybody have any other ideas on this ?

Thanks in advance,

Ron
