in the midst of restoring a "75" sport, doing the steering cables now, how many times does the cable get wrapped aroung the steering pulley, and is it opposite of each other, thanks, love the site....

Do yourself a favor and change that cable & pully steering over to a new Teleflex NFB rotary system. It's worth the investment, not only in the safety factor but in the ease of steering.

As I recall on my 1974 13', the threaded drum had about 5 troughs or channels. If I remember correctly, I used to have three of the channels filled. I think that equals two full wraps around.

And be sure to wrap it the right way
round so the steering doesn't work backwards.
