I read somewhere in this site that there is a Rub Rail replacement 3 piece. Does anyone know where I can get it? Will it interfere with the clips on the mooring cover?

A Boston Whaler dealer will probably be the easiest way to order a rub rail kit. Here's the link to jimh's article about the rub rail: http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/rubRail.html This site has an incredible wealth of information beyond just this forum. Check it out.

I know there are clips that work over the three piece rub raul but I'm not sure if they are different than the ones used on the old boats with the old white rub rail. I'm sure someone else will.

You might want to call Sue Lodel at Twin Cities marine..She is MORE then helpful. I ordered a 3 piece and ran about 90 bucks. her phone is (920) 793-2715...Email www.twincitiesmarins.com.

Good luck (I'm waiting for a day when my temperment is at its low before attempting the project..:)
