Have a 13' 1970 Sport. Just received the components to upgrade to a Super Sport. The components are finished and look great! They consist of console unit, new port and starboard side boards and a small wooden piece of unknown purpose.

My problem is that I have never even seen a Super Sport. I particularly need to know what the port side of the console connects to and how. The starboard side clearly connects to the new side board. But the port side looks to short to reach the deck and the boat is 265 miles away so I can't fiddle with it yet.

Also where was the wheel located on a tradition Super Sport? As always, any help is appreciated.

Thanks - I don't know why I missed it. This is truly a terrific site. Part of my problem is figuring out just what I own. The people I bought it from papered it as a '72 but the hull number 2A3906 rates it as a '70. The motor well goes clear across the hull unlike most of the pictures. It clearly had/has a sport console but it has a ss rail around the bow and a bimini top. It may be the equivalent of a mongrel dog - something you can love without knowing where it came from.

In the 13 Reference section, Testimonials, there is picture of my 1958 13 Sport with a factory bow rail.
