Mills Mooring Cover

Just had a chance to put on the mooring cover that came with my Montauk. It doesn't fit around the bimini. The bimini is folded toward the rear, outside of the rails. With the bimini removed, the fit is excellent. I really don't think I'll be removing the bimini every time I want to attach the mooring cover. Am I missing something? Is there a way to install the mooring cover with the bimini on the boat?

There is if it is a Mills mooring cover, a Mills bimini (suntop) and if you nest the folded (Mills) top forward as it was designed to be stowed, on the outside of the front rails.
If your top is not a Mills, you may have to have the cover modified by a canvas shop or put quick disconnect pins on the deck hinges for the top so you can remove it easily.
