On my Montauk there are little spider cracks in the floor and in the corners. Is there a way to fix these or make them not so noticable?

Dridek is a modular flooring that would cover the loor of your cockpit, it comes in squares like floor tiles that snap together. You may have seen a similar product on the floor in bars, comercial kitchens or public showers.
I have the same problem in the cockpit of my 73 nauset, and would love any info about possible repairs.

Hey Tim

For what it worth. I wet sanded and feathered the spider cracks from the corners with pretty good results.

Sorry for not explaining. I have the same issue with my '74 Montauk. I decided to go with AquaMat. (Instead of ignoring or patching or re-gelcoating or painting or Rhino-lining or ???)

From their ad, "Add a safe non-slip surface to a boat’s deck, dock, swimming pool or any other area that could become dangerously slick with these easy-to-install mats. Manufactured from a fast-drying, resilient PVC compound, they’re fully resistant to mold and mildew. The open design encourages rapid drainage to prevent water from collecting. And, they’re easy to cut so they can fit into any size area. Mats measure: 12" x 12"."

I think it normally sells for about $22/pack of 6 mats. I bought a bunch for around $12/pack during a "web close-out" at Bart's.

In addition to hiding the cracks, it protects the floor, keeps stuff (skis, tackle boxes, dog) from sliding around, gets the Tempo gas tank under the RPS off the floor so that stuff (sand, dirt, fish parts) doesn't accumulate around and under it, and provides some cushion when standing for long rides.

Chuck used Dridek in his Montauk. See Chuck's web page for some pics.

I'll try to take and post some shots as well.

Good luck,
