I have a 13' that had a custom built center console that is not very functional. I want to tear it out and replace it with more conventional bench seats....any plans or tips on construction / design?

There have been some new thwart seats on Ebay for the past couple of weeks. Check it out. Bring up Ebay then search for Boston Whaler .

Thanks for the info....nice looking wood, but what I'm looking for is a plan of the actual placement, i.e. where should the seats go for good balance, and a absic design for a steering station. Thanks again.

Aaron-
Check out www.whalerwood.com, they sell and cut custom orders especially for Boston Whalers. They are located in Portsmouth, NH. I recently ordered new seats for my '81 Sport and was quite pleased with their work.
