I have a totally sweet classic 25 foot outrage. I need to make the rub rail nice and neat. I have heard there is a two part product that makes it look new. Anybody know of such a product.

Use Armour All. It works great and is quick and easy.

Welcome back to the Door...

I agree that your 25 is a sharp boat. I would use the same stuff that the guy that subs all of the detailing for Yacht Works uses; Silicone.

Last year, he detailed my boat. He just used some basic boat soap in the rail, the used a cloth and covered the rail with silicone. It left a "like new" shine, and lasted quite a long time.

I buffed my rubrail out with red rubbing compound followed by an application of armor all. Worked great, looks great. Good luck.

Nail polish remover will clean it up great, leave it on too long and rubber will get sticky. Give it a shot and see. Do NOT use it on the engine seal, will make it permanantly sticky.
