Has anyone installed a live well on an 85 - 18 Outrage? If so what type of well did you use and where did tou install it?

I had an oval 30 gal. in an 86 18. It sat in the splash well, port side. A little list with the extra weight but it did well.

I installed a small bait well by modifing a 60 qt igloo cooler with a through hull pump into the drain hole and an aeorator and filter assembly in the top. The 13" bottom width of the igloo was perfect for the 13.5" width of the 18' Outrage splash well. This system gives 15gal of baitwell and will hold for several hours. I also modified the bilge pump line to fill the bait well, rather than handle the heavy cooler. It works well for me and cost less than $50.
