Could somebody give me the name of that company in New Jersy that makes the OEM white glazing strip for the wood consoles. I lost it.

Also, anybody have experience with Sikkens Sea-tol instead of varnish?

Dear Fellow Whaler Freaks -

I came across a company in Garwood, NJ called Petro Plstics
(www.petroplastics.com/boston.html)who make the white glazing
strip that runs around the window panes on the old mahogony
consoled Whalers. Pricing is 3$ per foot with a minimum order of 15
feet.

I got in touch with Bill Gathercole there who passed along the
following information:

- You must send them a letter asking for the white glazing strip that
was the OEM glazing strip for Boston Whaler windshields, Dye #250.

- You must also state how many feet you want, and enclose a check
made out to Petro Plastics.

- The letter must be sent to the following address, attention Bill
Gathercole:

Perto Plastics Company, INC.
ATTN: Bill Gathercole
450 South Avenue
Garwood, NJ 07027

I ordered 20 feet of this material two weeks ago and received it
promptly and installed new glazing on my 1964 Sakonnet. This is the
genuine stuff and it looks fabulous. I haven't seen this particular OEM
part described here before and I hope this helps a few folks out.

Justin
