tbirdsey	posted 07-02-2001 09:28 PM ET (US)         I want to add a teak fire extinguisher holder to the console of my 84 Outrage 18 - standard console. Could someone give me the overall dimensions and depth of the recess? Thanks.
lhg	posted 07-02-2001 09:42 PM ET (US)          Tom - I can, since mine has the all teak version. But not until next week when our Rendezvous group gets back from Northern Lake Michigan. Sorry you can't make this trip. I think the trim frame is teak, but the box is made from 1/4" mahogany plywood.
LarrySherman	posted 07-02-2001 10:09 PM ET (US)             I rebuilt mine last winter. The origional had roted. The plywood bottom, top and back are 3/8 ply, the sides are 1/4. I usesd teak marine grade double sided. Cut a section of the sheet large enough to build the panel and coated with 3 coats of epoxy, both sides. Then cut pieces, dry fited around teak frame, put in retaing screws. undid all screws, epoxyed all contact points for all parts, and screwed together. then removed screws, and epoxyed holes. Works like a champ. I threw the old one out, so can't give you dimensions now, but if you need them I will be at my boat on friday and can get them to you on Saturday. Larry
