I have a 13 ft 72 Whaler and want to paint the inside as close to the original blue as possible. Any ideas as to where I can find the paint? Also need decals for a 1972 Johnson 40hp electric outboard. Thanks, Ben

My husband who has a 1973 Boston Whaler—13 ft. long and he is restoring it, but he is having a hard time finding the paint (baby blue or turquiose) he needs. Haven't you heard anything about where to find the paint of original paint, yet? Let me know if you have heard or found anything about where to purschase this paint? Thank you. Nancy.

Try signature finish in Stuart,Fl. 561-287-6077. This is a small company that makes thier own paint. i have had it on a Hull for ten years. It is great stuff and easy to use

Thought I would bring this back. I want to paint my deck (1970) and was wondering if anyone has come up with a good blue color match. I called both AwlGrip and Sterling and they dont have a match.

Katama: There used to be a gent, Paint Legend, on this site that knows a lot about paint. I bought Boston Whaler blue Awl-grip from him.
US Paint probably has a minimum quantity before they will mix it up (# quarts?), but someone had done it. I can probably even provide the paint number.
Let me know.
