While trying to figure out the rat nest in my Revenge V-22, I traced a blue wire from the fuel sending unit to the gage, a green wire from the groung bus to the sending unit, so far so good, I understand this. But laying on top of the sending unit is another wire that appears to follow the filler tube. Any clue where this wire may go? It looks like it used to be attached to the sending unit....but which side? Hot or ground? I'm thinking maybe it's a ground for the crome filler tube but not sure without lifting the floor.( this winter's project)

Senders are usually two wires: guage and
ground. A metal tank filler should be
gounded.

Thanks Triblet. I'll ohm out the wire to the metal filler to verify. I thought that might be where it goes but wasn't sure. It was a last minute note while trying to hurry and clean up for the day. Thanks
