how long of a steering cable is needed to install a teleflex setup in a 13' "sourpuss" of 1974 vintage ?

I thinkthe side consoles use 8' so 9 or 10 should do. Measure it with a string. |

Here is the procedure from Teleflex. Measure centerline of wheel to gunwale. Measure from dash to transom. Measure from gunwale to centerline of motor. Add together and add 6", round up to the nearest foot. That system is for tilt tube mounting, If you are using a splashwell mount you would subtract that last 6"s. Dick |
