Anyone ever have a problem with the neutral safety switch mounted on the starboard side of the Yama90 (mine's a 2001). It a 2-lead, momentary on switch activated by a little spring steel blade cam. Apparently, the cam sometimes interferes with the movement of the throttle cable end, which keeps the R's up somewhat and prevents shifting into, or out of gear. I understand that because the Yama90 is offered with a tiller arm, Yamaha has to install the NS Switch, cuz there's also a NS Switch in the control box. If that's true, do I need 2 NS switches? Anyone knowledgable about this?

Thanks,
bones

You do not need any, but that is stupid and dangerous. If it is causing problems, remove it if you still have 1 in the box.
