I need a good source for replacing the seat cushion on my '78 Montauk. I want to have a matching set for the Bench, Igloo Cooler and Seat Backs -to cover the 2 triple rod holders on the face of the center console.

I have heard about Dave’s in Florida. I have been told they only sell to dealers. Any other resources would be greatly appreciated.

Hi-
I just had a local marine upholstery shop recover my original seat. As it turned out the wood on the underside of the RPS was rotted so the essentially built me a whole new seat. the cost was $127.00. They also made a bow and cooler cushion for the previous owner of my boat, so I don't know what that costs.

Hope this helps

Tim did a great job for me. The whole seat is about $175. Cooler cushion I believe is around $70+ . Can't remember the rod cushion price. They look factory and he did a great job.

Daves Upholstery DOES NOT sell only to dealers - they do sell and have sold directly to members of this forum (and the rest of the general public so far as I know) and they do a marvelous job. If this section is expanded (Repairs/Mods) there are numerous references to Daves, posts directly from them, and addresses and phone numbers.

Tim also does a great job; I have been happy with everything I have had done by both sources.
