Hi all,
Been busy outfitting my new Montauk over the last several weeks. Things I've installed to date:

Pate 24gal fuel tank. Mercury 13.12x16" SS Vengeance prop. Pinpoint 60lb thrust/24V/50" bow mounted, foot controlled, electric trolling motor (removable). 2 group 27 deep cycle trolling motor batteries, trolling motor plug w/50A breaker & Minnkota dual battery charger in console. Ritchie Explorer compass & Garmin 176C GPS/chartplotter on console. Pinpoint sonar unit on bow (works with transducers built into trolling motor) and Pinpoint sonar unit on console (works with transom mounted transducer). Or you can split screen and view any transducer from any sonar. Teleflex combo tach/hr meter. 4 Perko SS rail mounted rod holders.

The Pinpoint trolling motor has automatic shore, depth or creek track. Wasn't to sure how this feature would work out but it has worked great. I can set a distance from shore or depth for the motor to track & it really works. After the motor locks on I don't have to steer the boat, just stand on the bow and cast!

This is the first boat I've outfitted myself and its been great fun! Got the info I needed & advice from this great site. Thanks to all!

Congratulatios. It sounds like you have done a first class job putting that Montauk together.
Now get out and enjoy it.

Thank's Dick,
Been taking a few days off here and there to get some fishing in. Got 2 weeks off coming up and plan to do nothing but fish.

Barnett,

How did you mount the trolling motor on the bow?

Motor is mounted on port step. I used rubber compression mounts that came with the motor. Barnett
