Does anyone know if you can adjust a Mills bimini top to make it higher? My bimini top is about about 5' 8" above the deck unfortunately my head is 5' 11" above the deck which creates a conflict. My head usually loses. I looked at the frame and it appears to be adjustable, however the screws that hold the thing together are either torx or allen screws and I don't want to mess around with it if its not meant to be adjusted. Has anyone adjusted a Mills bimini top to make it higher? Any advise is appreciated.

Probably the easiest way to raise the top is to raise the mounting area. Just add more,or larger, teak, mahogany, or starboard blocks at the hull mounting point.

I think Chuck may have researched this with Mills. Take a look at earlier posts.
