Let me try this again. I am a new visitor.
I am on the verge of purchasing an '84 Outrage 22. The boat has been left in freshwater during the summer months and has developed an "orange peel" effect at and below the waterline. Whaler has suggested to sand, prime and paint the affected area. Do you agree? My intent is to keep it on the trailer after use. Your comments are appreciated.

I would have a local paint/fiberglass repair man look at the hull and give you a diagnosis and estimate. Glass work can be surprisingly expensive. This will also let you better estimate what you pay for this boat.
