I am restoring a 1961 or 62 (hull# 3279) 16' what I have not seen on here is info about the cotrol/steering tunnel. How to keep hull dry. I see it as a problem in my hull.Any help? Thank you

Welcome to the forum,

You don't keep the tunnel "dry" (it is molded in)! That's why no information on the subject (not totally true since there are discussions on this topic but probably hidden in other achieved post). If you take on water it will self drain.

Make sure you use straight battery cable runs no splicing from controls to engine/battery!

Now if this doesn't answer your question please be more specific if you have a unique problem to address.
