Any have experience with finding, installing a windshield on a side-console 17 foot standard? Suppliers? Tips?

My plan is to build my own windshield, tint it on both sides and install it. I want to use Lexan which you can buy at Home Depot, then air dry it in an oven for 4 or 5 hours, making sure it doesn't touch any metal while drying out. Then taking a commerial sheet rock heat gun and heating the folds or corners to the desired shape.

After the desired shape has been achieved, then I would want to tint both sides as I don't think Lexan likes UV rays. Then drill the necessary hole and install.

Don't know if it will work but I plan to try.

I'm not going to be doing it till I have some other things done but that's the plan.
