My 73 Outrage project has some sort of canvas or burlap-like material covering the inside of the sidewalls underneath the gunwales. It is peeling off and I either have to reglue it(undesireable since it is an ugly brown) or remove and replace with something else. D McIntyre told me he replaced his with Mat-Tac(?) but he isn't entirely satisfied as it doesn't stick well either. Anyone have any other more successful solution(s)?

Have Rhino Hide truck bed liner sprayed on in your choice of colors.

Checked into using Rhino Lining. Had quote of $8/sq ft in black or charcoal. Would want lighter color which was told would be even more expensive. Figure there may be about ~50 sq ft to cover puts Rhino Lining too expensive; also cocerned about weight of coating. Has anyone looked into Nautilex vinyl carpeting in West Marine catalog? Looks like it might work on my inner walls and lot less expensive. After removing the old material, figure I may need to lightly sand inner walls for better adherence of new material. Appreciate any comments.

Jim -

I didn't call Whaler about his material. Did you?

If you men Chuck Bennett at Whaler, the answer is no. Just recently sent him some e-mails about other questions. Guess I'll send another about the wall covering. Maybe I should just reglue present covering and paint(?) it.
