Has anyone attempted or been sucessful in flipping a Whaler (22'OR) over on its top. (intentionally of course!) The repair of my 22' would best be done upside down. I have a prospective buyer who believes it can be repaired if done upside down. The problem is with getting proper foam expansion.
Thanks Jim

Hmmmm....You may want to start with about a dozen strong friends and a keg of beer. I believe that this technique was discussed in the "Broken Boat" thread. (Set show topics over last 90 days, do a ctrl-F, and enter "broken boat" without the quotes).

We, wife, son and I, flipped our 13ft. Jacked the stern up in the air using a comealong and a large tree. then spun it over. The hard part wasn't getting my wife to help it was convincing her we "really needed" another boat.
