I've got a 13ft Classic Whaler I use along the coastal waters of Maine. I now know why Boston Whaler decided to change the bow design after having taken a season's worth of salt spray in the face. Does anyone know where I can purchase a spray dodger for my classic? I'm sure I could have one made, but I was hoping to just order one online. Thanks in advance to anyone with suggestions.

Mills makes what you need for your 13. I had one their Forward shelters on my 13. Blocks a lot of wind and spray, and is a nice addition to the boat.

Lhg speaks truth Mills is the best -- I don't think you'll find one online (trailer/storage covers but not a dodger)so either you order one from Mills http://www.millscanvas.com/ or have a custom one made up in Maine -- believe cost will be pretty close -- both ways the unit is "custom" --- just that Mills has the patterns -- one outfit in Portland which I have seen their work which is top notch is Nilsen Canvas 212 Warren Ave(207) 797-4863 if their still in business --

Great. I've contacted both Mills and Nilsen Canvas for cost estimates. I'll let you know what they come back with.

One of my earlier BW catalogs shows the Mills complete canvas system for the 13's and 15's.

You can completely enclose the boat if you want to, beginning with the Forward Shelter low front cabin, Flying Top, connecting windshield and Side curtains!

chrisc123, Larry is correct you can get the entire set form Mills -- the set is worth probably more than your 13 today :]--- Nilsen can also handle it -- don't forget a boot to store it in --- Z

Well, here's an update. Easier to cut and past than rewrite.

"Dear Mr. Cleaveland:

Unfortunately, we no longer make a Forward Shelter for your boat.
The reason being we can no longer get installation hardware for it.
Perhaps,
a canvas maker close to you could build you one. If you want, I can fax you
the original installation instructions, (I think I can find the production
file).

If you think it will be of any help to you, let me know.

Regards,

So, I guess it's up to the local guy. Now, if I could only get him to return my calls.
