csj	posted 11-22-2001 06:05 PM ET (US)         just purchased a 89 22ft. revenge the rubrail has some bifs and i would like to replace it . please let me know my best avenue for this, and price. also looking for a trailer

By the way, your posting prompted me to add some new information to the article, another dealer with rub rails in stock and glad to sell them to owners of older Whalers.
larimore	posted 11-26-2001 10:38 PM ET (US)             I looked into replacing it. It is only available from OEM dealers in 22' lengths. I decieded not to replace mine until and if it becomes absolutly necessary. I used epoxy to fix the major bashes in the PVC portion on the corners. Clean cracks in the sides, I live with. Where it come loose, I use pop rivits. Sounds bad - But actually no problem. I doubt I will ever need to replace it. Michael
