After much consideration regarding raising the RPS I decided to go with 304 Stainless steel 4" X 6" X 1/4" rectangular tubing. I cut 4 piece's at 3-3/8" wide and then had them re-cut to follow the basic profile of the footprint of the support leg of the RPS. I'm raising the seat 4" in total height, which will allow me to place a cooler w/o cushion nicley under the seat for storage. I've buffed/filed the stainless piece's to give a clean looking installation when completed. I will be also raising the console utilizing 4 piece's of 4x6x2x1/4" s/s and two piece's of 3x4x2x1/4" s/s tubing. I will use the same screw holes in the deck as well as the console support piece's in this procedure. The 3x4" piece's will be used in the center position on each side of the console and the 4x6x1/4" will be used fore and aft on the console base. All these stainless piece's will be mounted with the open side of the tubing facing port & starboard. This allows immediate access to the fastner's.

RPS is one thing but there is a LOT of stress on that console. Be careful it don't rip out!
