Well, I took the plunge recently and bought a 1967 13 Sport. It's in fairly but not too rough shape but most all of the parts are there including wrap around bow pulpit, side rails, lights, and all of the mahogany except for the front bench. My question mainly is would the boat be worth more restored to "just like new" or with some upgrades like to the rub rail, etc.. Also wondering about repowering advice. It now has an old Johnson 50 which I realize is just way too much motor.
Hey thanks in advance! My buddy also got a 13' hull except his is just the bare hull so I pity him....
Just kidding M!

Now the fun begins. I have a 15 sport and just repowered to a yam 70. I'd rather have a little too much motor than not enough. Have fun getting the boat ready for the spring. happy whaling.

The old boats did not have the strongest transoms and have 15" shafts. I would look for a nice 30hp.
