The panels that cover the wiring on the starboard side and the fuel hose on the port side of my 1991 '19 Outrage are torn up. The previous owner cut holes in them to mount speakers. I am considering replacing them with off-white plexi-glass. Does this sound like a good idea? I may put speakers in them is well and plexi-glass seems a little more sturdy and rigid. Thoughts? I have a guy that can make exact replicas of what what was there.

I'd use Starboard rather than Plexi.

Chuck--the things I am talking about have a right angle and the guy I know can put a right angle in plexi. The alternative is to buy the original from BW but I am afraid to ask what they would cost. Can you work with starboard like you can with plexi?

Will,
I think that I have a set from a 22'BW. If I can find them and you would like them, I would gladly send them to you. They are gray in color.

Dunno whether you can do heat bend in
Starboard like in Plexi, but it would be
done the same way. Get a small sample of
Starboard ("Seaboard" from TAP is the same)
and have your buddy give it a try.
