I am havig a hell of a time trying to get grease out of two different full size grease guns...they start out fine, but then just seem to stop...you can feel the change in pressure on the pump handle- I would really appreciate any ideas on how to get the guns going. I did notice a small set type screw plug on the front of the gun and wondered if you were supposed to let off excess air?? this is frustrating when you need to grease wheel bearings or engine parts...Thanks

You got it. Screw on top is to let the occational air pockets out. Sometimes you may have to wiggle the plunger shaft itself to start the purge.
I must have 4 guns and no one seems better than the other but I perfer the squeeze handle over the lever arm mostly because I can squeeze with one hand and hold the other end on the zerk.
I also use mostly lithium grease that, from my dirtriding days always performed well and was moreorless waterproof, or so it claimed.
