How do I go about rewiring the bow light? Is the wire buried under the rub rail making it impossible to replace without removing the rub rail? I have a 17' 1966 hull that started life as a Currituck but has been customized into a center console model. Thanks for any guidance. Peter

Peter, if that wiring is still original, it is molded into the hull and it runs from the bow light through the hull and back to the terminal block at the stern. If it's bad, you will need to run new wire under the rubrail. That isn't too bad unless you have the original 1 piece rubrail. In that case, you need to replace both the rubrail and the wiring.
