When I pulled the drain plug from my front fish locker this p.m. the bronze tube was loose. I was able to pull it out. It was plugged yet about 2 inches of water entered the locker. The boat is an '86 OR 22'. What sort of glue, silicone, 5200 etc do you rec using to keep the bronze tube in place? Thanks David

I have never done this type of repair before, so let me give you my knee jerk response.

I might consider re-bedding it with putty epoxy. It should give you a water tight seal, and it sill fill any voids that water might leak into. Plus, the tube will never come out again.

Brian- Thanks for input. I'm going to look for a water proof epoxy. We were out in 5'-7' for a couple hours on Sunday and the boat took a pretty good pounding. Since one came loose maybe others did as well. Going to check all the tubes and fix for good. I can't imagine ever having to remove the tubes so why not use an epoxy that is forever. Thanks David
