Im getting ready to mount the vhf and fishfinder, and was wondering, how to run the wires and cables thru my console?Should i run it thru the front facing the bow or should i run it thru the top of the console?Im concerned about how i should seal it off after im done to keep any water out of the console?

Devices like the cable clam are good. There
are a couple of similar devices. West, etc.,
sell the cable clam.

I did something a little simpler.

My wiring comes out the top of the console,
then has an SS clamshell over it with a piece
of inner tube in between for gasketing.

I run the GPS antenna down the console rail,
though the side, and back out the top.
