While I patiently wait to crank up my montauk after it's winter sleep, I checked under the cover and was pleased to see good results with a granular dehumidifier mfg by Starbrite. Everything looked good and dry. I put a 1 quart tub in bow, behind console, and one at stern.

I use a Caframo electric de-humidifier, doesn't put out much heat but the fan keeps the air moving and have never had a problem.
The only problem I have ever had was after fishing in the rain and a forcast of much more to come so I put the cover on a wet boat, won't do that again.
