Can anyone direct me to where can find out how to replace the factory wiring for my running lights? My hull is a 68 16'7 with all of the wiring in chases in the hull. My rear light is powered now by a surface mount wiring system (latest repair)but the front lights are connected to the original factory wires. I would like to pull new wire but cannot determine if the wire chase is hollow.

Any pointers?

If list all of the posts in this forum for the past 2 years and search for bowlight or wiring, you should find quite few discussions about this.

Those wires are molded into the hull and they cannot be replaced. When they go bad, your only good option is to run them under the rubrail from the stern up to the bow.

Thanks, Ron. I am new to this site and have not quite figured out how to fully navigate yet. I'll look into the threads you mentioned.

Again, thanks for your help.
