Hi everyone. I have aquired a 1973 Outrage 19. The plan is to restore it. It is in pretty good shape for as old as it is.One of it's problems is that the fuel tank was sludged up and I was going to have it cleaned. However after finding this web site and reading back I have decided to replace it.After the floor is up how do you remove the tank? Thanks in advance.

Hey Road Runner,
Look back to 3/22 in this forum for a topic labeled Revenge Belly Tank. There is some great conversation and input about the belly tank I removed from my Revenge recently.....and still putting back together.
Good luck....the project tends to grow and grow....

Just finished doing the same job on a 21' Outrage. Once the floor panel is up, you just need to pump out the tank, remove the two metal hold down brackets and jimmy it out of its foam insert. I took it a bit further and replaced the fill, vent and feed lines at the same time. Two guys 3.5 hours complete job including the new lines.

OEM tank available through Florida Marine Tanks.

Good luck!
