This is a 74 model. I am considering replacing the steering cables and putting in a teleflex system. 2 Questions:

1) What is the right system, spacewise? That little console is so small I doubt there are lots of choices.

2) What length cable should I get. I want to move the console up about 4 inches from the "standard" position.

I would recommend the Teleflex NFB Rotary helm. It should fit your console. The rack and pinion helm might be too long.

As far as cable length, Teleflex supplies an easy measuring guide to determine cable length. If you're moving the console forward, make sure the shift/throttle cables will accomodate the change.

I am also considering putting Teleflex in my 13'. Do any of you have pictures of this done on a 13' that you could post or post a link to so I (we) could see it better?
