While cleaning up my 13 footer I found a great product for faded fiberglass. It is called "Penetrol" it is mainly used as a paint conditioner. I have not heard of anyone using this product but it works great. You just wipe it on with a rag wait 5 min. and wipe it off. The blue interior looks as good as new. It also will restore brass and the price is good also.

I've used it while painting to reduce draging, and Tom W Clark mentioned that it does a good job on faded RPS legs. So I grabbed my can and found it said right on the label under alternate uses 'restores faded RV's.
I think in this application it works more like an armor all style product. I'm not sure I'd use it on gelcoat, I think buffing and waxing are the prefered route there, because that really does remove oxidation and then seal the surface to prevent further oxidation.
I did use it on my RPS legs and gas mats.

An RV site I frequent has a lot RV owners using penetrol to restore fiberglass units. Tried it on my truck cap and prefered the results NuFinish wax gave me and NuFinish was easier to apply/remove.
